POINT PAPER: Organized all Doctors by Location

Subject. This week I was responsible for organizing all the doctors that
work at Childrens National by location. There are six locations total.
Background. Providing the location for all the doctors that work at
Childrens National helps parents find quality doctors near them. As a
part of the blog migration project adding the doctors and their location
to the blog tab is an important new addition. Over 75 doctors and
surgical staff work at several locations and many of their locations
have changed. I updated a list that had not been updated since 2008.
In order to successful gain new patients and cases at Childrens
National had to have up to date doctors lists and locations.
Discussion.
On the first day of the week at my internship Kendra asked me to take
the list of doctors and the location key and match them up. I though
this was a very easy task until I saw how cluttered the list was. Some
doctors did not work at Childrens National anymore and others moved
to completely different locations. I understood why the need for an
accurate list is very important.
I also noticed some of the doctors names are spelled wrong the
external site for Childrens National. I gave Kendra notes based off
these doctors and she was very thankful that I caught the mistakes.
On the second day of the internship Kendra gave me another list
because the one I had been working on was missing a lot of doctors
that needed to be added. Luckily I came up with a good organization
system and was able to input the names and find the locations quickly.
Its important to remain organized and make sure I go above and
beyond when I am working on a new project. Unlike the previous weeks
I was able to keep and stay on task and check all aspects of the
projects. Spellcheck is very important is always stressed in my classes.
Recommendation.

The sixth week of my internship I went above and beyond the

directions of the project. Its important to take all projects seriously and
I suggest others:

Prioritize
Spell Check
Start Organized
