Rider Intro
The 4X shuttle service will start 15 minutes before the start of official
training and will depart from the forest road next to the Podium
tent. Event crew will attach bikes with straps and then remove them
at the top.
2.82km long with a vertical drop of 555m. The start is near the top
station of the gondola and the finish is in the World Cup Village.
To access the gondola riders must go to the rear of the gondola station, beside the bike wash.
There are some line changes and changed jump profiles from 2014.
Please obey the directions of gondola staff at all times.
Ceremonies
Silverline, the World Cup Official Tool supplier and Continental Tyres,
will be supporting 4 emergency repair stations on the Downhill
course during training and qualification. As well offering a basic tool
kit, the marshals at these designated points will be able to supply replacement inner tubes and a track pump, so that you can maximise
your training time in case of a puncture.
All ceremonies will take place immediately after the end of each
competition. Please make sure that you are close to the Finish for
the start of the Awards.
Flower Ceremonies DHI
For DHI there will be Flower Ceremonies for TV, featuring the top 3
riders, in the finish arena immediately after the Womens and Mens
races.
Podium Ceremonies DHI and 4X
Top 5 riders (Men and Women Elite, DHI and 4X) and Top 3 riders
(Men and Women Junior DHI) should make their way to the rear of
the podium as soon as the last rider has finished.
Water will be available for all athletes. Only one support staff will be
able to accompany each rider to the podium area.
There will be a special prize for the best whip through the Scotland
arch during Saturday training runs as judged by the crowd reaction at the wall and on the big screen. This is an informal competition and is not compulsory.
Prize Money
This will be held in the Crew tent, located to the right of the GoPro
truck and next to the Media Centre.
There is limited mobile phone reception in parts of the Highlands and the World Cup site has patchy 3G coverage.
There is some public wifi capacity at the Pine Marten cafe on site but
it can only cope with a small number of users.

If you have a problem, or flat
