A New Beginning

Ali was scolded badly by his father for getting bad result in his test. His fathers long thin
brown bamboo which landed at his right shoulder brings a new beginning to his life.
Soon, Ali changed into a very hardworking and obedient boy. He able to create his own
study time-table, surprisingly he was able to discipline himself to follow the schedule. His
parent, were happy to see the sudden changes in their youngest son.
In school, Puan Siti Norbaya who is Alis class teacher was surprised and glad to see Ali
attitude. Now, he paid serious attentions in class during every lesson. He also makes sure that he
will be the first handing over yesterdays homework. Ali also loved by all his teachers. He would
always stay back just to seek for explanations for any difficult exercises given by them.
Not just that, Ali never missed his extra class conducted by his teachers. Ali also asked
his father to register him at Do Re Me Tuition Centre. He would cycle himself to go to the tuition
Centre every weekend. Before the UPSRs examination. Ali was managed to get 4As and 1B.
More effort was given by him till the final exam.
Now, Ali is able to smile broadly. After 18 years, he is now a successful heart surgeon.
Dr. Ali was grateful to his late father. He learnt never to lose hope and not to give up no matter
what.
