You are on page 1of 1

The white background connotes the simple and innocence of the character.

I feel
this because white is a very
peaceful and calming colour so
when placed as the background this really makes me
feel like the character is a gentle innocent creature.

The use of the tagline being lengthy automatically makes the audience interested in
the character because it is suggesting that
there is more to him than what is given.
Straight away we want to know what it is
like through the eyes of Forrest Gump

The image in the

centre of the page
shows the main
character siting on
a standard bench.
Looking towards
the left hand side
of the page. This
raises enigma
codes. We start to
ask our selves:
who is he waiting
for? Is he waiting
for someone? Why
is he sat like that?
The way Forrest is
dressed in a crme
suit also connotes
innocence however also raises enigma codes as we
are wondering
why he is dressed
like this. The way
he is sat with his
hands pushed
down the sides of
his body is almost
child like.

The use of having

the title wrote in
bright blue gives the
impression that
they want you to be
attract there audience straight away.
It also contracts
with the actors
name. the use of
the three main colours: white, blue,
and red imply that
this is a very American style film and
maybe this character represents the
American society.

The realise date is bold and

clear against the white background. This draws attention
to it immediately.

Forrest has his back to the

audience which suggests
that he is being rejected.
Due to him sitting on his
own implies that he is unwanted from the rest of the
world or that he simply likes
to be alone.

The use of the added text at the

bottom being shown in grey implies that it is not as important as
the rest of the writing.
