Show and Share Speech

On Friday, May 29th you will be giving a 1-2 minute


show and share speech. You are required to bring in an
object from home and give a brief speech about it. Your
speech will be graded. Some time will be given in class to
prepare, however you will need to spend some time at home
practicing your speech. Please do not bring objects until May
29th. Be creative with your object, however live pets (pictures
are fine), or objects that are not school appropriate will be
allowed. Below you will find the grading rubric as well as the
outline you are to follow for your speech.

Speech Outline
Your speech should have 4 parts:
1. Greeting- where you introduce yourself and your object
2. Description- where you describe your object
3. Story- where you telling a story about how your got
your object, or why it is important to you.
4. Closing.- where you wrap it all up!
