Girders spacing = 8-0 on centers Girder type/size: I-shaped, 36in. deep, 24in. wide top flange and 28in. wide bottom flange with 8in. thick slab. Bridge sub-structure: R.C abutments supported on spread footings founded on solid below scour depth having allowable bearing capacity of 1.00 ton/sft. (Refer to geotechnical report prepared by GSK Engineering) Overhang deck: 3-0 from the centerline of the exterior girder to the end of the overhang. Intermediate diaphragms: Two diaphragms 10in. wide and 30in. deep at third points of the span in addition to the end diaphragms of the mentioned size. Materials: A. Concrete Prestressed girders: Minimum 28-days cylinder strength fc = 6 ksi Deck slab, Railing: Minimum 28-days cylinder strength fc = 4 ksi Sub-structure (abutments, footing): Minimum 28-days cylinder strength fc = 3 ksi B. Reinforcing steel Grade 60, deformed steel bars conforming to ASTM A615 having yield strength, fy = 60 ksi C.
