Abstract
This article focuses on the crises communications as one of the fastest growing
sectors in the public relations industry. The problems of modern society, the
occurring disasters and the realization that silence is not an option, have led
to the understanding of the necessity of risk and crisis management. Training
as well as crisis communications planning is an insurance policy in order to
protect the values and to guarantee the survival of an organization.
