Pinay takes Miss Earth 2014 title

Jamie Herrell of the Philippines was crowned Miss Earth 2014 held last Nov. 29.
Miss Earth 2014 Herrell outstand among the 83 other international delegates as she
takes home the crown.
All the girls were very competitive and they were all nice. They really put up a
strong fight. It was something I was hoping for but something I wasnt expecting
Herrell said after Miss Earth 2014 grand coronation night.
She said the main thing she will do is to talk to reigning queens of Miss Earth and
Miss Philippines Earth Queens and figure out worldwide project that can help the
environment.
Furthermore, Three special awards identified as: Miss Earth Hannah Beach Resort;
Best in Swimsuit; and Sun of Miss Earth were given to Herrell.
Herrell had also won three different titles last year. She was crowned Sinulog
Festival Queen 2013, Miss Tourism Ambassador of the Philippines 2013 and was the
top winner of Reyna ng Aliwan 2013.
Moreover, she is the second Filipina to win the titile. The first was Karla Henry in
2008 who, like Herrel, is from Cebu City.
