A01 How to use this manual

KAPPA production logging interpretation software has been developed to be as simple and intuitive as possible.
Although this version of the software is new and there have been a number of modification/additions from V2.40
to V2.42, the user will however find that all options of version 2.40 exist in version 2.42. The Update Notes
chapter, A03, is a concise description of all the new facilities and is intended mainly for V2.40 users.
Even for occasional users, there is virtually no re-training after a minimum time investment. By (or even before)
the end of the first guided session you may be tempted to use the program on your own data. You will probably
manage to get through, but may miss many of the useful features of the program. To optimize your time we
suggest the following self-learning path:
