Pursuant to DepEd Memorandum No, 80, s. 2014 re: Hiring of Qualified Kindergarten Volunteer Teachers KVTs) For SY 2014-2015, pat, 1 of the said Memorandum provides “Discontinuation of Hiring of LGU-funded and Kindergarten Teachers Volunteer Teachers and Reminders to Hire Only Qualified LGU-funded and DepEd-subsidized Teachers as of 2012 for SY 2014-2015" (Unnumbered Memorandum dated March 20, 2014) and “Revised Guidelines on the Transfer of Teachers From One Station To Another” (DepED Order No. 22, s. 2013), this Office hereby reminds the field of the following guidelines for teachers in the Kindergarten Program: 2. Due to non-availability of additional kindergarten items allocation until to date, you are hereby encouraged to strictly maximize the services of the regular kindergarten teachers including those grade teachers deployed to kindergarten classes; and to observe the one teacher per two sessions at a 1:25 ratio or a maximum of 35 pupils per session. b. Principals and school heads are further motivated to apply combination or multi-grade classes when deemed possible. c.
