Government

The Philippines is a democratic

government, this means there is separation
of powers. The separation of powers
divides the government in three branches:
executive, legislative, and judiciary. The
legislative makes the laws, the executive
carry out the laws, and the judiciary
explains the laws.

Executive:

The current leaders:

President: Benigno Noynoy Aquino

Vice-President: Jejomay Binay

Legislative:

Leader of Congress: Felicaino Belmonte. Leader of Senate: Franklin Drilon

Judiciary:

Supreme Court: Maria Lourdes

We need a government to lead us to peacefulness.

The legislative creates the laws to prevent crimes, and to maintain

peace. If anyone disobeys the laws they would be punished
accordingly by the judiciary.

The government will try to maintain happiness, by providing

education, health services, science and technology, and social
services. By this they build schools, hospitals, offices, roads, path
walks, hanging bridge, and spillways.

We can help by recycling and obeying laws.
