Her winter internship was completed in my classroom this year, and she has been a great asset to our educational community. She immediately adapted to my classroom and students, displaying great rapport with staff and students alike. Bri Minando has been involved in many facets of the McGregor community. She attended ‘our meet the teacher event prior to students’ first day of school, first grade after school activities, ‘Homework Help’ in the community, a PTA meeting, and multiple community service student group meetings. She maintained open communication with parents and staff in the school community. She sets a tone of warmth, caring and concern for students’ best interest when communicating with parents. Bri is respectful of diverse family structures and is willing to work with families to support their child’s growth and achieverent. Bri applies her knowledge of best practices and learning strategies in the classroom. She understands the importance of being organized and prepared in a busy classroom. setting. She is concerned about being ready to meet the behavioral challenges that occur throughout the day. She is reflective and seems genuinely invested in the students” social, emotional and academic growth. Bri has been consistently flexible and a team player at McGregor. Her decisions and actions are with intention to provide what is best for our students. She has never been hesitant to work collaboratively, assist others, or ask for assistance. She is willing to go above and beyond when needed. Her warm and caring manner helps maintain a safe learning environment. Her thorough delivery of instruction and concern for each student helps to successfully meet individual, grade level and building goals. Bri is a highly qualified teacher who would be an asset to any school. | believe that the school that ultimately hires Brianna Minando will find itself fortunate indeed.
