Calhoun Community College Announces Free Fast Track Program This


Summer For Graduating High School Seniors
Calhoun announces its new Fast Track Academy for high school students
graduating this spring who would like to get a head start on their classes this fall.
This program has been designed to provide students who plan to attend Calhoun
in the fall with resources to prepare them for college coursework. These include
specialized instruction in Math and English, one-on-one advising, college
orientation and career counseling. Whats even more exciting is that students
will be able to earn free college credit, saving students and their families close to
$1000 in tuition, books, and fees.
Any high school student graduating this spring with plans to attend Calhoun in
the 2015 fall semester and meeting the following criteria is eligible to enroll in the
Fast Track Academy:

Scoring 19 or below on the Math or English sections of the ACT or


Scoring 14 or below on the Reading section of the ACT

Calhouns Fast Track Academy will begin Monday, July 6 and run through Friday,
August 7. Classes will be held from 8:30 am to noon each day. Pre-registration
for the Academy is required, and a limited number of spaces are available.
Classes will be held on the Huntsville and Decatur campus. For more information
