music instructors, facilities, length of classes, duties of instructor
including non-teaching assignments)
C. Overview of music program

2. Schedule/Materials
A. Include a copy of the teachers schedule for the day you
observed and indicate the classes that observed
B. List materials used in the classroom observed (classroom
music series, audio-visual resources, instrumental/ vocal method
books, instrumental/ vocal music).
C. Discuss instructional techniques and methods employed
D. Discuss classroom management techniques and methods
employed.
E. Discuss the music and educational technology software and
hardware available and the used of technology in this teachers daily
work. How does the teacher use technology for his/her own
productivity? How does the teacher integrate technology to enhance
the students learning of music and musical concept?
3.Class Specifics
A. Grade Level

C. At least one national standard addressed in instruction
D. List of instructional materials. Include music, instruments, a-v
or technology resources-everything used by the instructor to teach the
lesson
E. At least two behavioral objectives for the class written in the
appropriate format
F. Instructional process: a step by step of the procedures the
teacher demonstrated in the class/lesson
G. Closure: How is the lesson brought to a logical conclusion? A
review of lesson, questions to/from students, activity/test, etc/
G. Indicators of success (Evaluation): a brief listing of the ways
the instructor could (or did) determine the degree to which objectives
are being met.
