Course Objective
Give students theory and design of water and wastewater unit operations. This course will
combine theoretical concepts of process engineering with practical constraints in order to
enable students to choose physical / chemical / biological process trains for water and
wastewater treatment. In addition the students are expected to understand designs of water
and wastewater treatment plants.
