A PERSONAL MESSAGE FROM THE PREMIER

On behalf of the Government of Ontario, I am delighted to extend
warm greetings to everyone attending A-Pathway to Peace: Young
Living Lifestyle Fundraiser.
Cross-cultural and interfaith dialogue are powerful tools for promoting
mutual respect, understanding and co-operation. And in todays
increasingly connected global community, such dialogue is vital to
building a peaceful, just and sustainable world for future generations.
I was pleased to learn that the proceeds from todays fundraiser will
go toward the World Peace Caravan Charity Organization, which aims
to put together unique events, and journeys that bring people from
different cultures and faiths together to travel, learn, experience
local customs and share perspectives on world peace.
I commend the organizers for their commitment to the power of
dialogue and the ideal of global peace. Our government will continue
to work with all our partners to cultivate diversity, social justice and
sustainable prosperity in our policies and institutions.
