My name is Andrew L. Kudray. I am an education student from
Concordia University Ann Arbor. I will be student teaching this semester with Mr. Barry Wittig. This is a bold, new journey for me, but that does not mean that I will not help provide an educational experience for your children that is well worth your hard-earned money. I would like to take this opportunity to tell you about myself. As aforementioned, I am an education student at Concordia University in Ann Arbor, Michigan. However, my hometown is Shelby Township, which is near Macomb. My home church is Faith Lutheran in Troy (the one with Senior Pastor Warren Arndt). I have never lived in Saginaw before, but my initial impressions have been very positive. I greatly appreciate and respect such a close-knit and kind community, especially one that is devout and vocal regarding our shared Christian faith. In fact, this community that is present in the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod is one of the reasons that I wish to enter teaching in schools affiliated with the LCMS. From an educational standpoint, I am the byproduct of two worlds. I was a public school student up to and including sixth grade. Beginning in seventh grade, I became a student at Trinity Lutheran in Utica. Following eighth grade (also at Trinity), I went to Lutheran High School North in Macomb, graduating in 2009. I have experienced great experiences in the public schools, but the LCMS school system has changed my life in so many great ways; I am more knowledgeable about my faith and I have learned
much about the secular world as well. I do not merely want to teach in LCMS schools. I want to teach because of LCMS schools.
