Religions

I feel that the Santeria, Voodoo, and Rastafarianism differ from religious such
as catholic or even Judaism because all three of the religions are more based on a
spiritual aspect. They believe in many different gods and spirits that we don't
believe in; we believe there is one god, with three parts to him the father, the sun,
and the Holy Spirit. For example the Santeria religion is involved in animal sacrifice,
which is something we are not involved in, in the U.S. In the Voodoo religion they
are very involved in there ancestor spirits and animist. Most people in the U.S. dont
follow the same beliefs as the voodoo religion. Lastly the religion of Rastafarianism
they dont believe in the end of ones life, they portray it as just moving into
another life, they see no deaths. In the U. S. we celebrate the deaths of our loved
ones with funeral ceremonies.
