a. Review fetal heart rate patterns and the treatment for those patterns
b. You will not be asked to read a strip
3. Focused Assessment of the pregnant patient or postpartum patient- 4 points
a. Review the focused assessment of the pregnant patient we did in
preclinical lab
b. Review the focused assessment of the postpartum patient
c. Be ready to list one or the other
4. Procedure for newborn heel stick- procedure 4 points, identify sites 1 point
a. Review sheet given to you to preclinical lab
b. Be ready to list the procedure
5. Procedure for newborn injection 1 point
a. Review the procedure for a newborn injection as listed in your text
book
b. Be prepared to list the equipment used
6. Auscultation of newborn heart rate and respiratory rate- 2 points
7. Math and double check medication or IV- 2 points
