ed le There is a unique reason of why civilization in New France is so well constructed. The French had formed a colony in New France which is now Quebec from{1463 to 1763 until the British took over their territory. However the French Canadians in New France had a well structured Civilization facet, which is shown by their social, political and economic aspects. ‘The social life in New France was fairly well established by the French Canadians. First, the Society in New France was mainly based on the seigneurial system. Where the seigneur ran his seigneury as a farm on strips of land running back from the river. Men and women farmed the land on the seigneury together, and paid rent to the seigneur for the land. Second, the habitants were farmers who made up most of the population in New France. They lived fairly comfortable lives farming around the most fertile valleys, and also worked part time in the fur trade or they fished. While in France, peasants would pay 600 times the rent of a habitant as a result the habitants having an easier life compared to the peasants in France. Third, women in France were not encouraged to come to New France until 1663, where the files du roi changed the colony. Farming in New France became easier and more productive, consequently women. ‘made good partners in running a farm. They had baking, sewing, preserving and these were skills which were very productive in terms of society helps. These examples illustrates how New France was a well-organized social structure. In addition to the well-structured civilization of New France, the political aspects of it were greatly organized. Up to the year 1663, New France had been governed by private companies. However, the king turned New France into a royal province, which gave the colony a well-built tical structure. The political structure in New France consists of three parts, the governor, the intendant and the bishop. The governor is the one who looked after military affairs especially dealing with wars, next the intendant, who basically is an administrator, looked after the colony and developed its economy. At last the bishop of New France was responsible for the religious affairs; for example, the church. Together, these three made up the sovereign council of New France. In the sovereign council, Comte de Frontenac, Jean talon and Francois, de laval, played an important role in the political system of the colony. First, Frontenac was an experienced soldier and also the governor of the colony. Second, Jean Talon worked as the intendant, he believed that young women living in poverty could be enticed to travel to New France to help build the colony. Finally, Francois de Laval was the colony's first bishop who founded a training school for priests in New France. As a result were the three men were essential to New France’s well-constructed political structure. In brief, every single element in the construction of the government is deeply important in forming a greatly established political system. Another great example of New France’s civilization is their unique economy. Fur trade was the main success of New France’s economy. The fur explorer/trader are called coureur de bois which means “wood runners’. They were guided by First Nations who used their knowledge of the land and geography as instead of an important reason of the economy success. But nevertheless, the colony's economy was under mercantilism by France, which is a popular idea in Europe during the 1500s. And the reason that the colonies exist is for the benefit of their home country. However New France needed its own economy; therefore, Talon established lumber mill, a tannery and a brewery. Surprisingly these industries did not compare with French industries. As a remove of life within the colony was more comfortable and the population of New France quickly increased. To sum up, the colony's economy might have under mercantilism but however they still managed a unique way to sustain their economy. In conclusion, the civilization in New France is immensely well structured by their organized social, political and economic aspects. Therefore the well-built social life of New France made New France a pleasant place to live and consequently made their political and economic aspects well structured. The civilization of New France might have been successful but in the end a certain war could easily change their fate.
