LESSON OUTCOME:
TEACHING FOCUS: Students are focusing on skip counting from 0, by 2, 5s and 10s
WALT: count by 2s 5 and 10s from zero
WILF: students will be able to demonstrate counting by 2s, 5s and 10s

Whole - Revisit skip counting .

Count by 2s, 5s and 10s
Model caterpillar activity using kinder circles. Students
start at 0 and skip count by 2s, 5s or 10s and complete
10 body parts of their caterpillar.
They are to then cut the corresponding amount of legs and
glue them onto each body part. (if counting by 2, then 2
legs on each body part)
Students can then go over the numbers they have written in
black marker
If students finish early, they can draw a face on their
caterpillar and glue antennaes on
