Document Analysis 20th Century Powers
The document is a record from the United Nations general assembly taken
from the 15th session that all the countries met. The nations are creating a system
that each country can agree on that allows all equal rights for sex, race, language,
and religion. The meeting for this record took place in the 1960s the time where
African Americans were fighting for equal rights in Washington which was a catalyst
for other countries to fight for their freedoms of speech and religion. Conflicts for
having equal rights was thought to bring a huge situation for world peace and had
curfews for territories. Most people in that time less caring for this but in reality it
goes to show that everyone around the world wants to be free from an oppressing
governmental system.
