I am sending you this cover letter and resume in response to the advertisement I saw on the Winnipeg Fire
Paramedic Service website posted on June 16th, 2014. I am very interested in this career and I know I am
a very good fit for the job. I have attached a resume which includes my experience, skills, and education.
I have successfully completed my high school education in Brandon, MB and graduated from Vincent
Massey High School. I have also completed my education at the Manitoba Emergency Services College. I
completed the paramedic care course, hazmat course, confined space rescuer level II, and surface water
rescue level II. I also do have a valid Manitoba drivers license. I am very involved in my community
with volunteer work. I have been volunteering since the age of 10 with my father. I continue to volunteer
in the community, and in Alexander, Manitoba with their volunteer firefighter/paramedic services. I am a
very determined worker, who has the skills and abilities to be successful in this position.
