IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
Abstract Submission:
i) Abstract must be prepared based on the IEEE Journal paper published in the year 2013/2014
ii) Last date for submission of Base Paper and Abstract with prior guide approval is 07.07.2014
iii) Project Review I will be conducted on 10.07.2014 21.07.2014 (Candidate is supposed to give a
seminar on selected base paper and the plan of work during project schedule, on this abstract may be
accepted )
iv) Minimum Project duration of 9months will be calculated from the day one after acceptance of
project abstract
GUIDE LINES TO PREPARE PG THESIS
1. Title:
i) Title of the thesis must represent the objective, emphasis on content and expected results.
ii) It must contain maximum of 8 words.
iii) Words mean "full words" not a single lettered word.
iv) One should not copy the title of the IEEE paper as it is for a thesis title. Appropriate title must be
specified.

3. Acknowledgements
4. Abstract:
i) It must be of 200 words.
ii) It must cover at least approximately one and half page.
iii) It should contain Need of topic, Objective, Implementation and Results.
5. Contents:
List of Figures
List of Tables
Abbreviations
Nomenclature
Every chapter number and chapter name must appear in the middle/centre of the first page of each chapter as
follows.

Chapter 1 (18 Times New Roman)

Introduction(20 Times New Roman)


with title case and bold face

Chapter 1:Introduction
Introduction (minimum one paragraphs)
1.1 Brief Information about the area of research (2-3 paragraphs)
1.2 Motivation (1 page)
1.3 Objective of the thesis
1.4 Organization of the thesis ( Chapters Break up )
Font size of each section name is 14 bold (Times New Roman) and each sub section and sub sub section
font size is 12 bold (Times New Roman). Plain text size is 12 (Times New Roman)
Note:1) Chapter numbers, chapter names, section names, sub section names, sub sub section names should be in title case.
2) Every reference must be referred at least once in the project in a particular Order.
