Level 30-33 - Val Aureum Part 1

Note - Beginning level 30, you have the option of doing a battlegro
This battleground will give large chunks of XP on a dai
daily basis. However, low levels queuing for
Corsairs Stronghold severely handicap th
their
eir teams. Do not be a jerk. Do the quests below.
Level 30 - Speak with Samael to update "Revelations of the Goddess". Head to the boob statue in the
center of town and speak to Ciebel to update "Revelations of the Goddess".
Speak to her again to teleport in and then speak with Velik.

Use the teleportal again to return to Ciebel. Return to Samael to turn the quest in and pick up "These
Aren't the Weapons We're Looking For" (Yes, everything in this chain is a parody of Star Wars). Pick up
your new skills, head to the Pegasus platform, and fly to Chebika. Find Jakarian to update the story quest
and pick up "Checking the Movement of the Kulkaris".
In the northeast corner you will find a lady with a quest. Pick up "News From m
myy Brother". Then leave
Chebika through the western gate. Head west speaking with Kusbert on the way, and looking through
the boxes.
Continue west to the mines. You will arrive at Foreman's Outlook.
Turn in and update all quests here, and then head int
into
o the mines. These mines are the first "Open World
Instance", which means that it isn't shown on the open world map, but multiple players can be inside it
at the same time, and it respawns mobs. Follow the path west inside, killing 14 trolls and zombies as
a you
go.
Don't bother standing in one place farming them, there is enough on the route to complete your quest.
When you get to the far west of the road, you'll start seeing Cave Mushrooms.
Collect 5 of them to update the quest. When done, head to the room in the center of the far left side to
meet Rumal.
Update the story quest, turn in your zone quests, and pick up his new quests.
Now head up and around to get to the east side again, following the northern path. Kill 12 Cruel
Taskmasters and Zompories
es on the road.
Towards the right hand side we will start to see Morale Boosters. Kill 5 of them (they will bring zombies
with them)
When this is done, just run past all the mobs until you get out and down to Reliquary Station.
Turn in your quests and

d then pick up all the new ones.
Head into the cave to the north. Kill the prefects in the way.
You will get to a room with big spiders, Arachens. These are our 6th BAM.
Arachens pretty much do frontal attacks. For ranged, if they put their hands to their mouth, move to the
side as it's just to spit a venom ball. For melee, stay in the back. Easiest way to deal with it is to just circle
it.
Kill the 2 in the room, and wait for 1 to respawn. Then head back to the camp to turn Cave In in.
Head back to the arachen room and kill Arachens and Ossugan Prefects until the Ossugan quest is done
and you are level 31.
Level 31 - Head North to find an Old Weapon Crate and update the quest.
Then head west to find the second crate.
In the next room to the west you'll find weapon crates. Destroy 5 of them.
When that's done, follow the road north, all the way on the outside part. On the way, you will find
Ossugan Centurians and Skeletal Spearmen.
Kill 10 of them. Then, you will get to the upper left hand part of the layer. Here we will find 5 imprisoned
villagers, displayed below.
Head to the little outcropping in the north to find the next 2.
And then south to the cross looking spot for the last 2.
Head south to the next big outcropping to find the kidn

Also, collect 5 Townfolk's Belongings in this room and just outside it.
Continue on, making for the southeast exit. Kill 10 Hammerhead Slaves
and 10 stonecrusher slaves nearer to the east side
on your way out. Then rush to the Utterdark Outpost.
Turn in your quests and pick up the new ones.
Head immediately in and run through the mobs in a clockwise circle to get to Lamya, following the path
shown below.
Turn in your quest and get the new ones. Then head to the room directly north of your to the teleportal
on the far eastern end.
Go in and attack the Black Hood.

When he is at about 50% you will get a cut scene. Elleon will appear in front of you. Speak to him to
update the quest, and then take the teleportal out. This will bring you back to the camp, so head back in.
This time, kill Lokian Reapers (14) and Sorcere
Sorcerers (14) on your way to Lamya.
Continue past Lamya to the large room in to south. Here, collect 3 glowstones.
Return to Lamya and turn in Stop the Research and Glow little Glowstone. Head north after speaking to
her, to the northern part of the cave. He
Here you will find Kurbain.
Turn in "A Token Effort" to reach level 32.
Level 32 - Pick up "A Venom-enal

enal Effort". Just south of the guy is an Arachen. Kill it, wait for respawn,
and kill it again. Then turn it in and unstuck to get to Chebika. Speak with Bruke to update "These aren't
the weapons we're looking for".
Learn your new skills, and then leave via the west gate. Head south to meet Hebbim.
Turn in "Checking the Movement of the Kulkaris" and pick up "Help the Relic Expedition". Head
southeast thee Desert Research Station.
Turn in your quests and pick up new ones again. There are no quests on top of the stairs if you are
wondering. Then, head west out of the camp. Following the southwest road, kill 10 Yurklag Hyenas.
When you get to the far southwest,

uthwest, you'll find some tents. Kill the 15 Kulkaris outside of them.
In the middle by the campfire you will find Baldesk. Kill him.
Head east past the campsite to get to the arachens. Kill 10 of them.
Then return to the campsite and turn the quest

questss in. Pick up "Lost Researcher" and then head due East to
find the researcher.
n in Lost Researcher and pick up Archaeology 101 and Blazing a Trail.

Turn
Head outside and gather 3 relic fragments (these tend to be more north of the researchers)
Also, kill 10 Crushers and 10 Ragers. Crushers tend to be more directly west of the researchers, Ragers
tend to be more north.
Head back to the researchers and turn the quests in and pick up Archaelogy 102 and Prophet's Staff.
Head north to the shrine and kill 10 Shamans.
In this area, you should also find fossilized bones. Collect 2 of them.
Return to the researchers and turn in the quests. Then, pick up a ruined journey. Talk to Borad behind
the researchers and begin to escort him. Kill the mobs in his way. When he gets to the top he will
disappear and respawn in front of you.
Speak to him and then return to the researchers. Turn in A Runed Journey and pick up Unfound
Treasure. Then, follow the road south to get to the next camp. This camp is a bit tri
tricky
cky to get to. Just run
slightly south of it, then head west, and then run up to it.
Turn in Unfound Treasure and pick up Eau My Gods, Attar Stones, and Medicinal Ingredients. For
Medicinal Ingredients, head out and kill 15 Cullars and Tentacullars.
Then
en go out to find the Orisks, our seventh type of BAM.
Orisks are not hard, just they can be a bit annoying. They have a jump attack that melee need to run
away from. They also blow out some green balls that ranged should dodge. Their biggest attack is they'll
bury into the sand. You'll see a shadow to represent their location. Just backstep or teleport away from
it. Lastly, they'll half bury into the sand and charge at you. Just avoid them when they do that.
Kill 3 Brutal Orisks in the north, and 3 Vici

ous Orisks in the south. Then return to the camp to turn the
quests in and reach level 33.
Level 33 - Pick up "Seeking Permission". Then head Southwest to the Desert Overwatch Outpost.
Turn in your quest, pick up all new quests, and get ready for some Ba
Basilisk hunting.
Head west and kill 5 Dusty Basilisks.
Then head south and it should update the "Silent Screams" quest. Continue south to find Jerod, who
surprise surprise, is dead.
Head further west to find Vicious Dusty Basilisks (kill 5).
Most of these will guard eggs, so collect 3 of them. Then head to the far west and find Bloodjaw.
Kill him and then return to the camp to turn the quests in. Unstuck to return to Chebika. Speak to Farron
and pick up "Butchering the Basilisks".
Then head to the teleport master and teleport back to Desert Overwatch. Head out and kill about 20

basilisks. My quest tracker did not count every kill, and I sstopped when I was at 15/5. Look at your XP
bar at the bottom. You should
uld stop when you have about 1 bar left if you are at 10/5, 1.5 bars left if you
are at 15/5, and 2 bars left if you are 20/5.
Return to Desert Overwatch
erwatch and turn in Butchering the Basilisks to Gaenor as many times as you can.
You should then have 1 bar left of XP (kill more Basilisks if you miscounted). Unstuck and take a flight to
Velika. Speak to Samael to update ""The
The Mystery Deepens". Start to leave the headquarters and the
quest will update.
Head to the northeast part of the city to find Elleon.
Turn in "The Mystery Deepens" to reach level 34.
