Throughout those nine ‘years I have had the satisfaction of knowing her asa student, player, a substitute teacher, a jayvee volleyball coach, and as the varsity girls assistant soccer coach. She isa very energetic, ‘dedicated, passionate, and determined individual with an oustanding work ethic. Ashley takes ‘reat pride in everything that she does and I am positive that she will be wonderful teacher. ‘While subbing in our high school Ashley was always willing to go the extra mile for her students, and forthe teachers she was subbing for. Her ability to focus and think creatively ‘enabled her to help motivate students ofall levels and abilities. Ashley was always confident and poised, even when confrcnted with challenging students and situations. This has become even more present in her curent position as a math interventionist at one of our elementary Schools. Ashley has been extremely dedicated in that role as wel, and even was a home bound educator fora student atthe school. Her passion for educating and helping students is phenomenal In regards to soccer, Ashley is in her frst year as an assistant coach for our varsity girls soccer team, From the fist moment she started helping she has been a tremendous asset for us All ofthe players look up to her and she is able to pass on her love of the game to them. Her primary job for us is to work with our defenders and that isn’t an easy task. Having the ability to ‘work wit a wide variety of skill levels and personalities isn’t always easy. However, Ashley ‘has taken this challenge head on. She is always prompt and willing to go the extra mile for our athletes. 1 feel i is important to acknowledge the fact that this isa voluntcer position as well Ashley takes time out of her life to help our team, our program, and our players. Without her this season would not be as great as With concer, Ashley developed a most positive rapport with students. Her manner was cordial and lively, and she avoided the need to “buddy up" to the students. She is definitely a sincere person with great integrity. Many students often offered positive comments about her as ‘teacher and coach. They alo knew that she made herself available to open communication before, during and after class. or practice. Ashley would be a positive addition to any staff A district would do well in hiring such «dedicated person, and I would consider myself fortunate to be able to work with her as a regular staff member.
