My name is Kely Workman, 1am an eighth grade special education teacher at Cedar
‘Springs Middle School, thad the distinct honor and privilege of working with Miss Ashley
Fisher for a portion of the 2014-2018 school year. Miss Fisher was hired as a one-to-one
support person fora student with autism, Her daily tasks inckuded but were not limited to
Providing accommodations and modifications within the general education setting,
assisting in task completion, managing and implementing a complex behavior plan,
facilitating social situations and expectations, and providing daily support forthe student to
function within the general education seting. Not only did Miss Fisher alde and support this
particuarstuxent, bu she also helped to support other special education and general
education students within the classroom environment when she was able, h addition, she
sought out new strategies and techniques to effectively suppor students with disabilities.
During this time, Miss Fisher was aways poised and professional She was always kind
and fiendly to students and staff and Ira erjoyed working with her. She buirapport with
the students and maintained positive comections and interactions. For these and many
highly recommend Miss Fisher
