We want everyone to be on the same page from here on out!!

We need a coordinated effort!!

Lets start with our home, our family, our friends, relatives, our old school,
business, restaurants, office, our staff, our Indian friends, our Pakistani friends,
our Asian friends, our American friends, and everyone else in the world. Most
importantly our congressmen, our mayors, our senators and ask them to join the
caucus.
What we need from all of you and your organization to lead in your community,
together we can, united we will!!
Local Level
Spread the petition (Anyone from Anywhere can sign)

o We need to delegate people in our communities to take a lead in their

area to make this effective.
o Reach out to local youth population who are effective in Social Media.
Mobilize them to Promote the petition in social media, Facebook pages of
organization, website, link the Facebook page we already have. It has all
the information use the following pretext if needed

o Important: Contact local businesses and leaders from other communities
(eg Indian communities, Pakistani Communities, Local Church, Local
Mosque, and Local Temples). Print the petition page and put it in the front
desk with a message.
To all my AMERICAN and NEPALESE Friends ::
YOUR voice - YOUR signature WILL SAVE LIVES! Be a part of
one of the greatest humanitarian focuses of our lifetime. We cannot
do it alone.
Did you know, the US budget for foreign aid has already been
allocated? Signing this petition DOES NOT MEAN that you are
taking money from Texas flood relief or any other issues that
America faces. What is does mean, for you and for the people
affected by disaster in Nepal, is that the United States and its
citizens will not stand by as Nepal turns into another Haiti. We learn
from history that America has always led in the humanitarian
efforts.
Out of the federal budget for international aid, this petition requests
LESS THAN ONE PERCENT for disaster relief to Nepal. This will
mean everything to Nepal. This is the beauty of living in a sovereign
democracy, with a budget that includes BOTH a domestic and an
international disaster relief fund.
Raise your voice with us. YOUR voice, YOUR signature, YOUR
support really can save lives! Our voices will be heard, and together
we will show the world that WE ARE HUMANITARIANS.

o It is important to let the American community know that what we are

asking is within the capacity of US government and the fund is already
there allocated for these efforts eg Haiti.

We need more coordinated effort: Form inter-community groups and intracommunity groups. Keep the communication channel open to everyone for
coordination.

Important ground work for needs to be laid for the bill by garnering support
of our local congressmen, senators, mayors in the community. Pass them
the packet we have ask them to join the Nepali caucus which is already
there.
