West County Assembly of God MINISTRY CATALOG June - September 2015 GREETINGS Welcome to West County Assembly of God! Whether you're a long-time member, visiting for the first time, or just considering a visit in the future, we want you to feel welcome. We have designed this catalog to give you a clear idea of who we ate, what we offer, when and where it's offered, and who you can contact for more information. If you are relatively new to WCAG, we would like to invite you to a Get Acquainted Coffee on the first Sunday of each month at 9:45 AM, which will give us an opportunity to meet you, and you to meet us. As we pursue a culture of hospitality at WCAG, we would encourage you to participate in t Sunday Lunch. What is that? On the first Sunday of each month, we'd like to connect with one another at lunch in hopes of establishing friendships. Allow me to challenge you: get to know someone new! We would love to help you grow in your relationship with God, connect with His people here, and find a place to serve those around you. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. In spite of the certain dangers, they considered the potential rewards greater than the risks, and so set out to discover new lands. Like Lewis and Clark, WCAG has been on an Expedition of its own, seeking to extend Gad’s reach in our lives, through our church, and to our world. Expedition is a two-year generosity initiative designed to draw us closer to God and to provide the finances necessary for our much-needed building expansion. We've been asking God to extend His reach into out lives individually, which happens largely through the ministries of our chusch, which includes worship, prayer, and engagement in the discipleship ministries we offer. Therefore, we have challenged every person who calls WCAG home to grow in their worship, prayer life, and commitment to become like Jesus We've been asking God to extend His reach through our church, which happens, among other ways, through the use of cour church building. Because of the generosity of this body through Expedition, we were able to break ground on March 8 and construction has been moving steadily forward since that time. We are adding a new foyer that will help facilitate deeper relationships and greater hospitality, adding a new centrally located children's chapel, and providing new offices that will make room for the children’s chapel. We've been asking God to extend His reach to our world. Over the life of Expedition, we have continued to support our partner missionaries and missions organizations, continued our Mexico Missions trips, a8 well as continued our Missionary in Training program that was launched in September 2013. Since Expedition began, we have also partnered with Kurt and Carla Convey to plant Center Church in September 2015. We have challenged every believer to grow in theit burden for, and service to, those with spiritual and physical needs, We are so grateful for everything God has accomplished during Expedition, We are believing God to help us finish strong and then to celebrate His work in our lives, thtough our church, and to the world, We look forward to sharing the results of our goals with you in June. May the Lord continue to bless you as you open your life up to His work. 2-Year Expedition Goals: New foyer and children's chapel 15% increase in worship attendance (65% increase in prayer ministries inerease in discipleship ministries Launch missions residency program Every WCAG believer burdened for the lost Service Times & Newcomer Info SUNDAY WEDNESDAY 8:15 AM Worship Service 5:45 PM Family Night Ont Dinner (no Kid Ministries) 7.00 PM.
