Ahybrid vehicleis a vehicle that uses two or more distinct

power sources to move the vehicle. The term most commonly
refers tohybrid electric vehicles(HEVs), which combine
aninternal combustion engineand one or moreelectric
motors. However, other mechanisms to capture and use
energy may also be included.
