Samdhi as a method of psychotherapy

Under the Samdhi as a method of psychotherapy, there are three statements: (1) Vitakka and Vicara to (Pa),
(2) Pti and Sukha to (Karun) and (3) Ekaggat. Here Samdhi mean mental therapy how samdhi aspect can be used as
remedies method for several thousand problems. According to the Asankhaya Sutra, Buddha says that if someone wants to
get healthy, he can follow these aspects. Thats why we are giving to permission to do that not only for enlightenment or
Arahantship but for the day to day life. We can follow these things but we have to add these things not as it is in a
different way.
According to traditional method, these are six characters Lobha, Dosa, Moha, Sadd, Buddhi, and Vitakka than
there are forty subjects of meditation. Some are suitable for lust character but some are suitable for faith etc. When we
develop Samdhi firstly which kinds of character we belong it. The method of meditation is called Samtha. Than these
three charaters: Sla, Samdhi and Pa. These aspects are classified to reduce the defilements for the short time. Sla by
mean of morality we reduce the defilements for the prior of time but for Samdhi long prior of time through wisdom of
insight meditation completely.
We are talking second step for the short time, for certain prior of time and completely. Than you can understand
Samdhi developed through Samatha meditation not to eliminate completely but to operate for the long prior of time. Lust
character develops Samdhi through mental attitude and also this lust character reduces into Samdhi balancing of
mentality here. Support, if hate character develops compassion meditation, hate character reduces into balancing of
mentality. There is called Samtha. And delusive character develops reflecting as the above following called Samtha.
These are essential mentality but not completely eliminated balancing.
Likewise, through Vitakka we develop that anyway here we are talking about Vitakka. We have to be reflected
one all the time. Than, we are always active but not lazy and also second state is Vicra. If you have Vicra, it means
Vicikiccha that can be eliminated. These two Vitakka and Vicra go together. If you have some particular object to be
thought, we are active. And doubts are eliminated through Vicra we can eliminate doubt.
Than, through Pti we can eliminate Vypda but mind is always happy at lease the concept and we can eliminate
also Vypda. And through Sukha, we can eliminate Uddacca and Kukkucca and through Ekaggat, we can eliminate
Kmacchanda. Now, you see that more mental problem arises due to the five hindrances as follow: Kmacchanda,
Vypda, Thina Middha, Uddacca Kukkucca and Vicikiccha. These can be eliminated five factors: Vitakka, Vicra, Pti,
Sukha and Ekaggat are researches with development of intellectual aspect, emotional aspect and effect as Samtha.
In conclusion, it is a good method of purring mental. Especially, there are five hindrances in some way and if you
recommend dependent on this theory, you will be development at the elimination these things. And if you want to go
ahead especially for something, you have given up them to some extent than also the methodology is Vitakka, Vicra, Piti,
Sukha and Ekaggat. Anyhow, we practice Samdhi to eliminate five hindrances with five Jhna and to reach the
realization of Nibbna.
