Power Point Slides

Small math activity also will show how everyone comes to an
answer a different way

Introduce the topic and why we chose it. Discuss quickly what it is and why
it is important to not focus more on the struggling children, but give as
much attention to both ends of the spectrum. Dont aim for the middle.
About 2 minutes
Use the slides we made to guide us through dissections. About 16 minutes.
Includes a 4 minute activity to demonstrate what we mean. Also includes
question about what the class believes as good alternatives for students
who finish early.
Quick summation of what we have been discussing and short question
period to see what the rest of the class would do if they had children like
this in their class- would they use the same ways that we discussed or
would they do it differently? About 2 minutes.
