El Nido is a transitional housing program for women with children who are
escaping domestic violence. For decades we have sponsored an apartment and
it is, once again, time to restock it for a new family. If you would like to
continue to make cash donations, place an envelope in the collection basket
and denote El Nido Apartment or you can drop off your envelope in the
parish office.
Thank you for so generously supporting this ministry.

ARE YOU IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH SOMEONE WHO GETS VIOLENT WHEN YOU DISAGREE WITH THEIR OPINION?
This is a Safe Place Community: Santa Sophias team provides faith-based support to parishioners, family and
friends who suspect or know of violence in their relationships. Call (619) 663-9785 and leave a message. All calls
are confidential-no caller is identified by name. A team member will call and offer resources that can help in situations of child, elder or intimate partner abuse.
