In Visayan Regions male agricultural students are predisposed with
motivation to address family economic welfare; with their personality character
trait interest along nature that motivates them to stay in the course; and extrinsic influence of their family members who are into AFF-related jobs. Female who took up Fisheries and Forestry are primarily predisposed with their expectation on the opportunities provided by the government with their personality character trait interest on outdoor activities; and intrinsic influence of their families whose jobs are related to AFF. That there is an inferior public notion for AFF courses. While in the Luzon areas, according to research 20% of the female enrollees wanted AFNR course of who two thirds of them come from the rural areas and live below poverty line with farming, fishing and partly forestry activities as livelihood and whose parents just obtained basic education. With regards to their personality traits, students tend to be realists where in their decision for AFNR is primarily influenced by personal interest for outdoor, mechanical and physical activities. Students extrinsic predisposition for AFNR course shows that there is evident influence of house keeper-mothers followed by peers and relatives .Students of Luzon strongly look forward to promising job opportunities in local job markets. Male students are much intrinsically influenced to take-up agriculture than females.
