April Labbe student taught in my second and third grade classroom at Wells Memorial School in Harrisville, NH. She worked very hard to learn not only about our school, but each individual student's situations, learning styles, habits, needs, and skills. After every lesson April had a clear understanding of how to improve the lesson.

April Labbe student taught in my second and third grade classroom at Wells Memorial School in Harrisville, NH. It was a pleasure to have April as a colleague. She was always on time, very flexible in our collaborations, and kept a student centered focus throughout her student teaching placement. April was always willing to brainstorm ideas to help personalize instruction and learning for our students. April worked very hard to learn not only about our school, but each individual student's situations, learning styles, habits, needs, and skills. Through her short time in our school, she developed a thorough understanding of each child and what their needs were. April helped create a great learning environment of respect between herself and the students. She worked hard at establishing a strong rapport with ALL students. After every lesson April had a clear understanding of how to improve the lesson. She would also accept constructive feedback and would apply the knowledge she learned from the feedback in the next lesson. It is her reflective nature that will serve her well in the classroom. She also learned how to use movement breaks and occupational therapy tools such as wiggle cushions and fidgets to help children focus, control their behavior, manage transitions, to effectively increase student learning. She was always willing to try new technologies in the classroom. As a result I believe April would be very capable of integrating technology effectively into her classroom instruction. Overall, I found April to be professional and enthusiastic educator. She would be a solid addition to any faculty team and I am proud to recommend her. Sincerely, John Thomas 2nd/ 3rd grade Wells Memorial School Harrisville, NH 03450
