There is the opposite of Here. = “that place” not here.
There is / There are = to show that something exists.
- A: Where are my keys? B: They're over there.
- A: need to go downtown. B: This bus will take you there.
- There is a vase of flowers on the table.
Refers to something a person has or owns.
Their is used before a noun.
- Their parents didn’t know where they were.
- They took their surfboards to the beach.
- The children put their homework on the teacher's desk.
They're is often before an adjective or verb ending in -ing.
- They’re happy with their exam results.
- Do you think they're ready?
- They’re making a lot of noise.
