Description of how to implement in the class: This activity will be used to supplement the lesson on special right
triangles. After the lesson has been taught in-class, the students can use the flash cards to help them remember the
terms learned and check understanding on how to calculate trigonometric functions for different angles. At the end of
class time, the teacher will pull up the flash cards for all students to see, and the teacher will go over each card with
the class; the teacher will read a card and call on a student to give the answer. Students will be asked to try out the
cards as part of the homework, and the next class, the teacher will have the students report which cards they knew
using a tally system on the board; this will give the teacher an idea of which topics need to be revisited and which the
students have already mastered. The program can continued to be used for reinforcement of the lesson throughout its
duration.
