Thony Romeo Santos was born on July 21, 1981 in The Bronx, New York, United

States. His passion for music started very young when he participated in the choir of the
local church and began to compose his own songs. Always was a fan of bachata, even
when it was not a popular genre.
At 14 he took his first steps to be part of a group called "The Tinellers" with whom he
came to make a record. Gradually he became more known in the environment until it
became the composer and lead singer of the group of bachata "Adventure", which
formed with two of his best friends. Joining them managed to popularize this pace
internationally, bringing some of his songs to the top of the lists of Latinos and
European rankings.
But while his personal life was complicated. At 19, he learned that his girlfriend of the
time was expecting a child, fear and despair, decided to end the relationship and not take
care of the baby was coming.
It was very successful in the hands of "Adventure", as he stood out as a songwriter for
other great musicians like Wisin & Yandel, Don Omar and Thalia. The band won several
international awards and were even invited to sing at the White House for US President
Barack Obama and his family.
