During the 1960s he was a leading pop artist. Pop artists liked the idea of making art from everyday things such as magazines, advertising, packaging and the movies. Andy used silkscreen printing to create lots of art works of everyday things such as soup cans and Coca-Cola. Care oMure( ee Matelo|-r4i Mtn Mela Met oa The magazine was full of interviews with lots of celebrities including movie stars, rock stars and artists. el 2 What's on ‘Andy Warhol’ exhibition at the Gallery of Modern Art The ‘Andy Warhol’ exhibition at the Gallery of Modern Art is the place to be this summer, with lots of great things for the whole family to see and do. The exhibition includes art works that Andy made throughout his career from the 1950s to the 1980s and a special area for children and families called the Silver Factory. At the Silver Factory you can have your photograph transformed into a Warhol- style portrait and see yourself on the silver screen.
