During the 1960s he was a leading pop artist. Pop artists liked the idea of making art from everyday things such as magazines, advertising, packaging and the movies. Andy used silkscreen printing to create lots of art works of everyday things such as soup cans and Coca-Cola. The exhibition includes art works that Andy made throughout his career from the 1950s to the 1980s and a special area for children and families called the Silver Factory. At the Silver Factory you can have your photograph transformed into a Warhol- style portrait and see yourself on the silver screen.
