Design Your Own Tool

What you will need:
1 piece of Cardstock Paper for a final draft
1 pencil for planning
Colored Pencils/Markers/Crayons
Scissors (if needed)
Glue (if needed)

Directions:
Look at the brainstorm of what your class came up with for what is
necessary for survival. You may also refer to the 10 Necessities list that
your group came up with last class.
The tool must not simply be a hammer or a screwdriver, it must be
creative, show that you planned and thought about the assignment. It may
have one single purpose, or even be able to accomplish many different tasks
at one time. Along with the illustration of your tool, the assignment will
include a two or three sentence explanation of what the tool can do and why
you created it!
This assignment will be graded by a rubric that can be made available
to you, if you wish to see it. You may use the back of this assignment
worksheet to sketch and plan your illustration.
