General Description of Standby Generator Set


Introduction
This specification covers the Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Standby
Generator Sets together with all necessary equipment/accessories. The delivery shall be
effected at the specific site as per Section V Schedule of Requirements 1. List of Goods and
Delivery Schedule. The generator set, control panel, changeover panel and auxiliary
equipment shall be installed in the existing generator rooms at the different sites.

Regulations, Standards and Workmanship


Installation works shall be carried out to good standards of workmanship and all equipment,
materials and fittings shall be new and according to specifications.
All standards to be used to ensure conformity of mechanical equipment and its installation
are as follows:
