For my Conservation Biology class I had to read The Land Ethic by Aldo Leopold

published in 1949. This literature by Leopold was very interesting. If I didnt take
this class or read this, I would not have learned the things I have from what he
wrote. What Ive learned is that all of us need to reflect upon how we affect our
environment around us. We should stop being so selfish and me oriented and look
out of ourselves. There are things that everyone can do to help conservation efforts.
No one person can save the world themselves. If we all work together as a world
community, maybe it will make a difference. I realize that it very ideological, but
something does need to be done to save the many species of plants and animals
that are in danger of becoming extinct.
