How to update firmware of CW-5358U/ CW-5356U Router and configure basic settings

1. Download the latest firmware from this link
http://tomato.groov.pl/download/K26RT-N/build5x-130-EN/Asus%20RT-Nxx/
Ex: Get the K26 Nocat-VPN
Note: Router Flash memory is only 8MB.

After download extract the file. All firmware are now zipped.
2. Connect to the admin console
Administration -> Upgrade -> Browse the file -> Check the checkbox (After
flashing, erase all data in NVRAM memory) Click Upgrade

After the upgrade make sure to connect to the router via wifi
3. Once the upgrade is successful, log into the console and change the VLAN
Advance -> VLAN. This should be like this.

4. Change the Router Identification

5. Change the Time Zone

6. Enable the QOS function

Click QOS -> Basic Settings -> Check Enable QOS
Note: QOS and Bandwidth Limiter should not be enable at the same time to avoid conflict

7. Clone your MAC address going to router

Advanced -> MAC Address -> Clone from PC
