On April 25, 2015, Jessica Diaz will complete the 16 week Advanced Field Experience. I had
the opportunity to supervise Jessica from August November 2014. Ms. Diaz was in
Intermediate Field experience teaching 5th grade at Cathedral St. Raymond School, Joliet, IL.
Jessica demonstrates exceptional commitment to fulfilling her responsibilities as teacher
candidate. Relating to needs of children was a joyful and productive challenge. Presently she is
completing Advanced Field Experience in 1st grade.
Miss Diaz's enthusiastic attitude and creativity accented each lesson. From research to lesson
plan and instruction to final reflection, her efforts aspire to excellence. She believes in taking
time to prepare lessons and materials to motivate and provide interesting learning opportunities.
Jessica seeks to creatively generate exactly the strategy, review, practice, rubric, etc. to achieve
her objective and elevate likelihood of success. Materials are generated with detail related to
objective and visual appeal. Each child is treated as a learner of significance. Collaboration and
co-teaching with her cooperating teachers is positive and productive for all.
