1. Why do I want to be a doctor?

At first I didnt dream being a doctor but my parent always told me
that I can become a doctor. As time moves fast I realized that being a doctor
is my calling, I want to become the doctor of my own family, relatives and
community. I always want them to be in good health and being the eldest of
my two sisters and I want them to see me as their model and I would like
them also to study hard and aim high
Other factors would be the white coat; I think that suits me well. The
salary of a doctor and I love the fact that it is so fulfilling knowing your
patient would be cured and being a doctor youre the one in leading the
management.
2. What is my pre-medicine course and why?
Nursing; After high school still I dont know what course would I take
eventhough my parents are both dentist , taking dentistry would be long for
me.
3. Why did I choose San Beda? Did you regret studying in San Beda?
I chose San Beda because Its the most cheap medicine school that
time also Im near San Beda and the same time I want to become Bedan
because I want to watch live NCAA games.
No! I did not regret anything. I love being Bedan and besides Beda has
compassionate professors which interest me well in attending classes.
4. Plan after board exam?
Honestly my goal is to become Adult Interventional cardiologist but
being young I have the time to save money or be in moonlighting first before
moving into specialization maximum for 1 year for my future (for my future
family or if Ill choose private hospital in my residency program so that I may
have the money to spend without asking my parents.) Im confused doc can
you please advised me for this.
5. Where will I practice my Senior Internship and why?
Im praying for Philippine General Hospital because I want to have my
residency program of Internal Medicine in the same institution and I would
want to know if I can handle many patient and being toxic for me to choose
where I can practice my specialization.

What do I expect on my psychiatric rotation?

My expectations on my psychiatric rotation are it would be a form of

review on different psychiatric drugs, to sharpen my skills on complete
psychiatric history and physical examination.
I expect by the end of our
rotation, Psychiatry will be considered as one of mychoice entering residency
and lastly I hope that I can apply all my learning in San Beda to my patient.
