Notable Quotes:
Just as, in this body, the self passes through childhood; youth and old age, so after
death, it passes to another body. Krishna is persuading Arjuna to fight. Krishna
assured Arjuna that even if he kills someone, he has not committed a crime and
that they would be reincarnated.
Know what your duty is and do it without hesitation. For a warrior, there is nothing
better than battle that duty enjoins. In this quote, Krishna is convincing Arjuna to
go to battle with Hindu teachings. Krishna told Arjuna that a warrior must fight, die
and go to heaven or be called a coward.
Questions:
Why did Krishna persuade Arjuna to go to battle?
Because Arjuna was overwhelmed and he had no intentions to fight even if he
has to kill his relatives. There is no need to kill a family member.
Why Krishna is considered a God?
Krishna is smart. He did not linger in the unnecessary sayings that his transparency
of thinking enabled him to differentiate between what is right in terms of doctrines
and rules that is contrived for generations to come.
