A survey must be undertaken in order to identify all tasks where there is the po

tential to fail from a height greater than 1,8 meters. The survey must record:
Type of task being peformed
Location of the task
Type of fail prevention or protection measures used
Any task where the potensial for failing cannot be eliminated using fail prevent
ion measures then fail protection equipment must be proviced.
The training and competency assessment system shall ensure:
Competency standarts for personnel required to
select, use, inspect fail protection equipment
erect, inspect and dismatie scaffolding
operate elevated work platforms i.e. scissor lifts, power step
training and competency assessment for the above personnel
the recording of all training undertaken and result of competency assessment
regular re-assessment of competence and retraining when required
An overview of working at height safety requirement must be provided as part of
the general induction program
