OQ __ a teliow peace oficer of the City of Dallas, Dallas County, Texas, who personally participated inthe ‘nvetigation ofthis alleged offense, providing tis information to Affi, and whose information Afton beienes tobe credible, ‘On Monday June 22, 2015, at approximately 6:00 pm, Dallas Police were requested by Dallas Fire and Rescue to respond to deceased mule at 9714 Forest Lane #5607, Dellas, Dallas County, Texas. When Patrol officers arrived they found the complainant Ricky Griffin (W/M 08/04/60) deceased in the living oom of the apartment from wha: appeared to be blunt force tauma to the head. Officers observed evidence that someone attempted to set the complainant on fire. Witness SERMMINMERN told detectives that she lives atthe residence and the complainant came to visit her earlier inthe day. The witness said she lef the complainant and suspect Kieron Alexander ( B/M 07/24/89) alone at her residence for approximately an hour. When she rtumed she found the complainant deceased on the living room floor with a small fre buming next to him, The witness extinguished the fire and ‘immediately called the Dallas Police Department. Suspect Alexander was no longer tthe location. While detectives were processing evidence atthe offense location, the suspect walked up and attempted to enter the crime scene. The suspect was detained and transported to Dallas Police Headquarters for questioning, Detective Eric Bares mirandized the suspect who agreed to speak with palice regarding the offense. During the interrogation te suspect said the complainant made several unwanted sextal gestures ‘owas ins, The suspect sald that he “clicked” which eaused him to loose contol and fight the ‘complainant with his feet and hands.
