    Write a Captains Log

    The King of Spain has sent you, instead of Christopher Columbus, on a mission to
    find the shortest route to India, so that you may trade gold for spices.
    Along the way your ship went off course, and rather than arriving in India you
    discover a continent which Europeans have never seen before.
    Write a captains log for your king, describing everything that you discover on this
    new continent. Are there people there? What about animals? Any strange plants?
    Remember, the culture and landscape here will be very different from anything
    you have ever seen.
    Be as creative as possible.
    When you are done. Pass your work in.
