Students will be introduced to the unit on

Family and relationship. They will gain an
overview of life between individuals, including:
relationship, morals.

Students will draw conclusions about how

important to treat your family with respect and
good manners, through the read aloud graphic
organizer.

Pre-Learning Activity Demonstrating Skill

For the Do Now, students will read a short story

about parents who did not respect the needs of
an old man their grandfather, and how their
child draw a conclusion on his mind that he
have to treat his own parents the same.

Modeling Segment

The teacher will model one sentence in the story

on the read Read Aloud graphic organizer. They
will show the students how to draw a conclusion
and support it with evidence from the read
aloud.

Coached Practice Segment

The teacher will guide the students throughout

the read aloud.

Independent Application of Skill

Students will independently finish filling one

more row on the Read Aloud graphic organizer
using the story.
